El más pequeño de los pájaros carpinteros que podemos observar en la Península Ibérica, todos los días y sin excepción me acompaña con su canto en la dehesa.

El cortejo del somormujo lavanco (Podiceps cristatus) Great crested grebe

Es espectacular poder observar el cortejo que realiza el somormujo lavanco en esta época del año, los machos y hembras realizan este baile sobre el agua donde se encara el uno contra el otro y empiezan a hacer movimientos con el cuello.

It is spectacular to watch the courtship of the great crested grebe at this period of year, males and females perform this dance on the water where they face against each other and begin to make moves with the neck.
